Abby was born in China where she earned her Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Design at Beijing Forestry University and Master of Design at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She moved to the US in 2011 where she earned a master’s degree in Christian Studies from Trinity International University. After that, she has been worked in the international students’ ministry as a campus minister for 8 years. Abby is presently pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Ashland Theological Seminary and planning to graduate next year. She is under the supervision of Lynn King, LPCC-S.
Abby is a member of the Professional Honor Society (Alpha Tau Sigma chapter) as well as the Ohio Counseling Association. She is compassionate, insightful, and passionate about the broken-hearted people who get healed, find their purpose, and live out a thriving life. She has a special burden for those struggling with depression, anxiety, personality disorder, and relationship problems. Her cross-culture experiences are valuable as she works with clients from different cultural backgrounds.
Abby is passionate about her faith and serving in ministry. She enjoys hanging out with people, cooking, traveling, hiking, biking, her cat, and learning about different cultures.
