Eric has a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Dayton. He also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Otterbein University.
He believes in the holistic approach to counseling individuals, couples, families, and communities. Eric values the integration of body, mind, and spirit. He has taken a special interest in and has done significant research in the area of working with couples. He began studying what makes relationships "work" about 20 years ago when he and his wife got married. He wants to help others live their best lives together. Additionally, he is trained in using Neurofeedback Therapy (www.brainpaint.com) which is a non-invasive therapy used to teach the brain to better regulate itself.
Eric also works with one of the leading neuromodulation companies in the world which provides transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to those who suffer from Major Depressive Disorder. Training physicians in this area has been extremely rewarding and has impressed upon him the prevalence of depression and anxiety in our society. He believes we must all work to realize that there are times in our lives when we may need a hand.
