Mikayla Brown


Licensed Professional Counselor 


Mikayla holds a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary and a BA in Psychology from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. She is currently a member of the Ohio Counseling Association and Chi Sigma Iota, the professional honors society for counselors. She is currently supervised by Mary Rose Hamparian, LPCC-S.


Mikayla is passionate about helping her clients feel accepted and safe in counseling, and desires for them to live a life of peace and fulfillment. She loves working with her clients to help them process difficult thoughts and feelings, and learn to effectively manage problems that occur in life in order to thrive and heal. Mikayla utilizes various techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Play Therapy to work with her clients, and tailors her approach to each client’s individual needs. She is now accepting clients for morning, afternoon, evening, and Saturday appointments.


Mikayla loves spending time with her husband and her son. In her free time, she enjoys running with her dog, traveling, and spending time outdoors. Mikayla also loves playing board games with friends and family and trying out new recipes.
