Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Mikayla holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary, and is independently licensed as an LPCC. Her clinical focus is counseling children and adolescents, as well as mothers of young children. She finds joy in helping her clients process difficult thoughts and feelings in order to thrive and live the life they were meant to live. Mikayla loves providing a safe space for her clients to share their stories and learn coping skills to make a healthier path forward.
Mikayla utilizes elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy (for younger clients), and dialectical behavioral therapy to help her clients make progress on their therapeutic goals. Mikayla can also provide Christian counseling.
Aside from counseling, Mikayla loves spending time with her husband and two young sons. Mikayla loves running, baking, and spending time outside.
