Lindsay Gifford

Counselor Trainee and Intern
 
Lindsay is licensed in the State of Ohio as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
  She recently received her Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary.  Lindsay is also a 2019 graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Science.   She is currently supervised by Sharon Williston-Benadum, MA, LPCC-S.

Lindsay is a member of the Alpha Tau Sigma chapter of the Professional Honor Society for Counselors, Chi Sigma Iota. Lindsay wants her clients to know the joy that comes from living out of freedom from their mental health issues. She believes it is an honor to walk with clients through their struggles in life and desires for them to feel seen, known, and safe in their time together. Lindsay views the relationships with her clients as the most important aspect of their work together. 
 
Outside of counseling, Lindsay can be found spending time with her husband, their new puppy, and their friends. She loves reading, exploring Columbus, and trying new restaurants in the area. 
 
Lindsay uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy when working with her clients.
