Lynn King

MA, LPCC-S, CCTP II
Supervising Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

Lynn holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Medical Technology from Ohio Northern University and has spent over twenty years in the medical field. She received her Masters in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. She has received specialized training  in trauma, including EMDR, as well as mood, anxiety, adjustment disorders and relationship issues and enjoys working with adolescents, couples, and families.

Lynn is also an Associate Professor instructing a variety of courses in Psychology and Chemical Dependency Programs for the College of Adult and Graduate Studies at Ohio Christian University. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, American Association of Christian Counselors, Ohio Counseling Association and Central Ohio Counseling Association.

Lynn enjoys people, backpacking, kayaking, cooking (and eating, of course!), nature, golf, and nearly anything adventurous and “new” - especially Costa Rica. Her love of people, the thrill of seeing others develop new perspectives and achieve their potential, and her own life experiences are what lured Lynn from the medical to the mental health side of health care, a career change that has been even more fulfilling and enjoyable than expected.
