Thomas Hyland
MA, LPCC
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Thomas Hyland is a graduate of Ashland Theological Seminary after having completed his Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling in the Midwest Counseling Program. Tom retired from a thirty-five-year banking/finance career as Vice President/Director for a major financial institution in 2009. He is experienced as a deacon in home church leadership and church planting. Tom holds a bachelor of arts degree from Houston Baptist University and is a Vietnam War and U.S. Navy Veteran.
Tom's commitment to following Christ and a deep sense of calling has led him into the counseling profession in a unique time of "retirement" in his life. This has led Tom to develop a counseling environment that is safe and non-judgmental. This approach is centered on Christ, rooted in Biblical truth, and clinically informed.
He has been married for over thirty years to a beautiful, gifted mother, homemaker and artist. They are the proud parents of adult children. Tom is an avid baseball fan, biking enthusiast, reader, and loves the traditional annual family vacation to the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
