Sarah Fay Cook
MA, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Sarah Fay is passionate about creating space for her clients to experience authenticity, compassion, and a non-judgemental listening ear. She seeks to collaborate with her clients in creating a treatment plan based on their individual mental health and wellness goals, and to continue collaboration throughout the entire counseling process. She desires to help clients recognize and engage their personal strengths as they navigate life hardships.
Sarah Fay received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary, and currently works with adolescents and adults. She utilizes several treatment techniques based on client needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Trauma-informed care, and Rogerian techniques.
Sarah Fay worked with college students for eight years in a ministry role, and has since enjoyed working with young adults in the clinical counseling setting as they navigate the excitement and challenges of early adulthood. Sarah Fay also has a special burden for working with women and helping them feel seen, heard, and empowered. She is able to offer Christian counseling upon request.
In her free time, Sarah Fay enjoys painting, playing board games, grabbing coffee with friends, photography, thrifting, and spending time at home with her husband, cat, and goofy golden retriever named Archie.
