Sarah Fay Cook
MA, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Sarah Fay is passionate about creating space for her clients to experience authenticity, compassion, and a non-judgmental listening ear. She seeks to collaborate with her clients throughout the counseling process, prioritizing their goals for counseling. Her aim is to help clients experience a safe space to process the ups and downs of life, recognize and engage their personal strengths, and build their toolbox of coping skills to equip them for life's challenges.
Sarah Fay received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary, and currently works with adolescents and adults. She utilizes several treatment techniques based on client needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Trauma-informed care, and Rogerian techniques.
Sarah Fay previously guided college students for eight years in a ministry role and continues to work with young adults in a clinical counseling setting as they navigate the excitement and challenges of early adulthood. Sarah Fay also has a heart for working with women and helping them feel seen, heard, and empowered. She can offer Christian counseling upon request or can keep her services more clinical.
In her free time, Sarah Fay enjoys painting, playing board games, grabbing coffee with friends, photography, embroidery, thrifting, and spending time at home with her husband, cat, and goofy golden retriever named Archie.
