Counselor Trainee and Intern

Lauren is a Counselor in Training (CT) in the state of Ohio. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Cincinnati in 2022 and is currently completing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Dayton. In addition to her graduate training, Lauren is pursuing an Ecotherapy Certificate, an area of counseling she is especially excited to learn more about and integrate into her future work with clients.

Lauren believes it is a privilege to walk alongside clients through whatever season of life they are facing. She strives to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and understood as they navigate challenges, growth, and healing. Lauren values the therapeutic relationship and views it as a foundational part of meaningful and effective counseling.

Outside of counseling, Lauren enjoys going to the movies with her husband, spending time with their two cats and new puppy, reading, and exploring the Columbus food scene.

Lauren is currently gaining hands-on experience under the supervision of Rebecca Owens, LPCC-S, a licensed professional clinical counselor with extensive expertise in the counseling field.
