Lauren is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who got her Masters Degree from Ohio University. Lauren Has been practicing as a Social Worker for over 13 years and has a range of experience from Medical Social Work at two different childrens hospitals, working in the Juvenile Justice System, and working with older adults.

 

Currently Lauren specializes in working with parents balancing the life changes and challenges of parenting, Moms dealing with symptoms with of Post Partum Anxiety and Depression, as well as individuals dealing with anxiety, depression and trauma. Lauren uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy as well as Motivational Interviewing as her primary modalities in sessions. Lauren is a Mom of two boys and loves running, traveling, and listening to audio books during her free time.
